| Jeff
Karr first began testing motorcycles in the late 1970s at Cycle
Guide magazine. Then during nine years at Motorcyclist, Jeff
was the magazine’s lead performance test rider, and also
competed in motocross and roadracing events, earning his AMA
Professional Racing License. Jeff endurance-roadraced extensively,
and participated in NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle drag race
competitions.
In the
automotive world, Jeff has attended Porsche, SCCA, Sprint
Car and CART racing schools, and raced in club-level sprint
and endurance events.
Jeff
was lead performance-testing driver at Motor Trend for
many years, and performed instrumented tests on hundreds
of cars, trucks and SUVs.
Jeff’s
verbal and writing skills complement his vehicle-evaluation
talents, making him well equipped to communicate his testing
